Welcome to the second burnout deep dive of September! Last time we covered what values are, why knowing them and working in alignment with your values is protective against burnout, and why revising your values forms an essential part of your recovery if you have burnt out.
But, how do you work out your values? If you don’t know how to go about this process, don’t worry because today I’m going to take you through exactly how to work out how to do this in the easiest and simplest way. Because, let’s face it, when you’re burnt out or overwhelmed, ease and speed of any personal growth exercise you undertake is verrrry important!
I once did an online values quiz that took me through so many steps that after about 10 minutes, I gave up. I was still clueless about my values, and rather frustrated that it wasn’t an easy process to boot. But it really doesn’t have to be that onerous.
